  • Economic and Labour Market Guidance: Thunder Bay CMA – This study, undertaken on behalf of the NSWPB by Paul Knafelc of Community Benchmarks, examines the Thunder Bay Census Area’s Labour Market conditions and economic status. It also provides an Industry Framework resource tool to be used to determine specific industry direction and trends. (Released March 2012)
  • Custom Labour Market Report – Thunder Bay District – This study, undertaken on behalf of NSWPB by Mining Industry Human Resources Council assesses the labour market needs within the mining sector over the next 2, 5, and 10 years throughout the Thunder Bay District. (Released February 2012)
  • Transitioning Thunder Bay to a Knowledge-Based Economy – This study, undertaken on behalf of the NSWPB by Paul Knafelc of Community Benchmarks, examines the Thunder Bay Census Metropolitan Area with the intent of identifying and documenting the economic and labour force characteristics and trends that demonstrate or hinder the transition to a knowledge-based economy.
