• ACTEW: A Woman’s Training Community – A Commitment to Training and Employment for Women (ACTEW) is a network of agencies providing community-based employment and training services for women.

• Anishinabek Employment and Training Services – Utilizes community-based employment and training initiatives in order to develop a skilled Aboriginal workforce.
• Community Mental Health Association (Thunder Bay Branch) – CMHA offers several employment related programs. 1) Prevocational Training- A pre-employment program that ensures an individual is prepared to re-enter the workforce. 2) Transitional Employment (T.E.P.)- A program which offers members the opportunity to rotate through paid positions in the community on six-month intervals.
